    Lightbulb Paying yourself first!!!

I wish i would of forced myself years ago to take $50 each month of the baby bonus checks( family allowance) to put away for my retirement!!! Whenever we look at ourselfs as always actually working out!!! We do work very hard at home!!! And we dont pay ourselfs first!!! If we worked outside the home, automatically it would come off our checks!! So i'm going to start paying myself right after christmas when all the C.c, are paid off. And if i can put more I will!!!

Wow you get an allowance for having a baby? I think it's a great idea to pay yourself first but I dont do it either and should.

yeah in Canada we get family allowances. it goes by how much u make and so much per child. after 7 they start decreasing. were fighting for them to help pay some on child care too, new prime minister, so will see if he holds the other cabinets wishes, probaly not. Our kindegarten in PeI is paid for too, we just have to funraise to make up for the rest and all the outings that go on through the year.
