My 6 yr old and 3 yr old fight sometimes. It's not fun. Some days they just can't get along from the moment they wake up until the time they go to bed.

Ally is a dramatic screamer. Need I say more? lol

I'm a firm believer in not stepping in (unless it gets out of hand) because I want to build their autonomy, but there are times I fantasize about my life before marriage and children. lol

    Angie,
I can deffently relate to you. When the kids were small somedays i didn't know if I could even get there to the end of the evening . Then hubby would walk in, I would walk out. Some days i cried my eye out and put myself in a bedroom or bathroom. My time out.

I think we all have days like that. My three fight at least once almost daily and I think alot of that has to do with their being so close in age. I do steo in but I think mostly it is to save my sanity. I am going to try to stay out of most of it but it's hard when they start yelling 'MOMMMMMM!" lol

There's light at the end of the tunnel. Both my kids used to argue all the time and now get along fine. It may seem like all is lovely & grand where I am now but I did go thru much of the stuff many of you are struggling with. Hang in & hold on for the bumpy ride, it will get better.
    I feel your pain, really.

Years ago I remember getting the biggest thrill walking out of the house, with nothing but my car keys in my hand and my purse.

Being a mother is definitely by far the toughest job I've ever had (and I've had some pretty tough jobs.) It just never ends. I have really good days, and really bad days. I try to stay calm but sometimes I just can't take their bickering and constant interruptions. It's nice to hear that others are having it tough too. I find that some moms just want to criticize eachother. I believe that we are all struggling together and we can all benefit from eachother's kindness and support. Check out www.onetoughjob.org

From another perspective; my youngest grandson, on Thursday was a total terror. But he is a great kid as are yours, and feel good in the knowledge that they all outgrow it.

We have days where we have to keep our two oldest (4/5) out of arms reach of each other and not in a direct throwing line. Then we have days where they play together great, then we have days where they play together and we can see them, if we can't see them it is usually trouble, last time Arthur came and quietly took his shoes. They were'nt playing out so DH followed and found they needed shoes because your feet get cold when your standing in the freezer.
I think all parents have moments when they think of the good old days before kids, but we love then really and as i keep telling my DH just remember to breath .
