    Default Plans for the Day?

Well, today we were supposed to have the Bozza family picnic, but it is supposed to thunder, lightening, and rain all day long. My father-in-law is so disappointed. I think he's still going to head over to the park until it is actually no longer safe to be there. He LOVES the family picnic. Bozza's from all over come. We used to have about 75 people there, but in recent years, it's been more like 20. He was hoping for a good turn out today. We'll probably go keep him company for awhile until the rain actually begins.

What are your plans for the day?

Have a letter to finish writing to a friend. Gonna give the bath towels a bleaching their looking alittle dingy. Feed the neighbors cats, their gone on vacation. Roast up a whole chicken for supper and sandwiches for the coming week. Make up some chocolate chip cookies for nibbling on this week. Finish up some billing for the end of the month. Go over a list of things that need attention for a friends upcoming wedding. Gave them the list yesterday need feed back to continue on with planning. Work on some family geneolgy, need to add some informtion to our online tree.

It is raining here, too, today. Since it also a little cooler, I might just haul some boxes to the attic. Just a regular chore day for me.

Default rainy day here in west virginia

My usual Sunday chore is laundry. I always wash my scrubs for the upcoming week. I'm also paying bills and straightening up the house.
I plan on going to the grocery store tomorrow, so some planning will have to go into that so I don't impulse shop.

I'm sorry you all are having such rainy weather. It is a beautiful day here in Michigan today. I've just finished taking down all of my wooden blinds and now I'm goint to paint my bedroom. I've just bought my first house and this is going to be my first painting job all on my own. I'm a little nervous about making the first swipe, but I need to get started so I can get it all done today. It is only a 12 x 10 room, so I should be able to get it done today.

Well, here goes, I'll check back in later.

Sorry about your picnic Amy It's raining here also. DH is racing this weekend but I think he will be back early, he won't race in the rain. I am doing some quilting and I think I might take a ride to the bookstore to see whats new.

Its supposed to reach 109 here today. Just going to try to stay cool. DH and I have already done our laundry, he mowed the lawns and watered, I picked up the living room and vacuumed, all early in the morning before it gets to bloody hot to do anything but sit in the living room and watch TV with the air-conditioner on.

Speaking of having the air conditioner on - its so expensive to run but whaddya gonna do?? Got to stay cool somehow. The problem is that we rent and this house has no insulation and the landlord is not interested in doing that.

    Ah, well.

So far went to church and then went to parents house for lunch. Right now I'm doing laundry before it starts to rain. I was planning on cooking on the grill for supper but might have to change that plan. Then going to do some filing in the file cabinet.

Amy sorry to hear about your rainy day. Its always a bummer when you plan a picnic and then it decides to rain. Its happened in the past at our Family Reunions.

It is raining here also...seems to be raining everywhere. Anyhow, I've just been doing some light housework since we got home from church. I've been trying to email everyone I've neglected over the past few weeks. I have to just sit down and write everybody back so I know I've done it!

DH is taking a nap (he works nights), and the dogs are going crazy becuase they're stuck inside. I also intend to tackle some laundry and iron any clothes for the week such as scrubs and dh's uniforms. Barbeque is in the crockpot so dinner is no problem tonight.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day...rain and all!

Aww, I am sorry to hear about the rain, Amy. I hope it held off until the picnic was finished.

There wasn't much planned here today, except laundry. DH made us all breakfast this morning and I cleaned up. I thought that was a fair trade. We made a trip to town to pick up some items at Walgreens then to Circuit City to replace his lost cell phone. UGH!! It wasn't too bad. The representative actually saved us some money which was a blessing.

My MIL is taking Dakota to the Family Fun Night at the church. They will be having free hot dogs, snow cones, games, rides, etc. It is all free.

I will run later this evening when the sun goes down and not as hot. I am getting faster! I actually shaved two minutes off my time!! I will do my jogging fitness test on Wednesday morning and will be done with that PE credit. I may register for the 2nd session since I am already preparing for this one and just continue with training. I think if I do them back to back it would be so much easier.
