How was your day?
I stayed busy most of today. I had to get up early to take Chris to the high school for strength and conditioning camp. Then Richard, Dakota and I headed to the clinic because Richard and I had to get blood work done. Richard is only 18 and has to take meds to control his chlosterol. He had to have it checked. I also had to have mine checked because I hadn't done it in over 5 years. I have never had high cholesterol, but it runs in my family.
Since we had to fast last night and this morning, we headed to McDonald's to use some GC's for free breakfast.
Then we headed to the DPS office to get Richard's license renewed because it expired on his birthday. Now he doesn't have to worry about it again until 2012.
We stopped by the high school on our way home and picked up his graduation video that they gave to all the seniors. I haven't watched it yet, but will this weekend. We also talked to the counselor to see about sending his transcript to the college he will be attending. She said she took it by there last week. YEA!!
Finally, home to start working on my English essay that is due Wednesday. I finished it and already submitted it! I am glad that one is done. I think I only have one more essay to write for the class. I hope she gives us the topic Wednesday.
Of course, Chris calls for me to come pick him up from the high school because he is done. I sent Richard to pick him up instead. LOL!
I have laundry going. I cut Richard's hair and he wants to lighten it, so we are in the process of doing that now.
I finished getting all my rebates and trades together for mailing. I am short one stamp, but will get it tomorrow. I am mailing the other ones tonight.
Dinner is done and I already cleaned up the dishes. WHEW!
Dakota has a baseball game at 7 and I am the official scorekeeper. DH will be umpiring tonight as well. No, he doesn't mind calling Dakota out! He will be the first to do so. There is no special treatment just because he is his son.
After the game, I need to go run. I take my jogging exam on Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. and then I never have to jog again unless I want too.
Then, I am heading home to collapse in the bed.

I am still working out in the yard as much as I can. I really want this yard in shape by the fall.
I dug up weeds all across the back foundation of the house and replaced it all with hosta.
Enlarged the fish pond another layer around, refilled.
Cut all kinds of the blue rose of sharon branches to get them in the ground for rooting. Moved 4 yucca plants.
Along with tackling the regular home junk jobs(laundry, cooking, vacuming etc)
Now am relaxing and reading.

In Texas, it is $24 for 6 years. I guess that is a good deal when I see you have to pay $45 for 3 years!!!

Michelle, Your day was busy! It's all good though.
I've just been super cleaning here. I can't believe I tossed 4 bags in my decluttering adventure today.
The next couple of days I'll be decluttering closets, dressers, and the playroom.
I even splurged and bought febreze.
