    Default New Member - Tara

    Hi everyone!

    My name is Tara. I'm 24 years old, have been married for 3 1/2 years and am a SAHM mom to an almost 4 month old son.

    I am looking to pare down my budget and make my money stretch further. DH is currently working as a shipper/receiver at a warehouse, but is planning on becoming an electrician or pipefitter; he's looking for an apprenticeship currently. He doesn't make a lot right now, but we are Canadian and thus have the great blessing of 1 years paid maternity leave (55% of gross), which helps a lot. Staying at home with my little guy is very important to me, so my goal is to learn to live solely on DH's income and put all of my mat pay in savings. We already have $4050 saved (YAY!!!), but I know we can do better.

    I look forward to getting to know all of you, and learning lots of frugal tips!
