Unmotivated
Do you ever just feel like you would rather just sit in front of the TV and do nothing. Thats how I'm feeling these days. I am now working part time (25 hours a week) so I should be enjoying my free time. DH is going back to school, so I need to be focused on finding a full time job I like, but I don't want to. I should be spending some of this time deep cleaning my house, but I don't want to do that either. I could list some things for sale on ebay, but I don't feel like it. I could be cooking ahead so that when we do get busy we won't eat out, but guess what, I don't want to do that either! Blah! Its summer! I should be excited about having some free time and putting it to good use. I could be going to the library and renting movies, books, etc. but I just don't want to think about it.
I have gotten quite a lot done this week, I've spent a lot of time working on my house, but theres so much more to do. How do I get out of the funk?

You know, if you're working 25 hours a week instead of working full time, it can be an adjustment to all of a sudden have a lot of free time. I know that I need to put myself into a routine or I just don't know what to do with myself.

I took 3 days off this week to regroup and get my house back in order--I have spent maybe 8 of my available 22 hours doing what needs to be done. I am exhausted and even all of this down time hasn't helped. It hasn't helped that the kids are still up and have to get to day care at the same time.

LISTS!! Make lists of all the little things you need to do daily, every single one! This can really motivate you when you can check them off as they get done, it makes a HUGE difference around our place.
That said yep, I have those days too, ya just want to sit around and watch Judge Judy or Judge Joe and turn your mind off, giggle at other people and VEG!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I do have a routine, and that does at least help me keep things accomplished, so I follow it reluctantly.
Maybe I can get some "me" time this weekend and just veg around the house with DH.
