Aaack! He's coming home EARLY!
DS was expected to remain in the hospital at least through this weekend. (Born 6/21, ten weeks early, but doing very well.) That's actually earlier than the doctors originally said, but, of course we were thrilled.
Well.... I just got off the phone with the hospital, and DS can be discharged home TOMMOROW!!!
DH is asleep (worked night shift) and my sisters/parents are all at work, so I'm sitting here in a state of shock all by myself.
:surprise: Since I was sitting at the computer desk anyway, I figured I'd post here and try to clear my head a little!
I had planned to go grocery shopping this afternoon and do a bunch of bulk cooking tommorow... guess I won't have time for that! I need to finish washing up his bedding and new clothes... buy some of his special preemie formula... set up the bassinet... get a few groceries... install the car seat base... do some general house cleaning... aackk! That's not much to do in a week, but it all needs to be done
tonight ! DH has to work tonight and tommorow night, and it's too late for him to be able to arrange time off, so I'm on my own!
OK, I'm off to get everything done... I'm so excited that he can come home, yet shocked at the same time.
Next time you hear from me if I'm babbling like I've lost my mind
... well... you'll know why!
