Heatwave on it's way so I'm getting my work done early. I've cleaned, done dishes, planned dinner and floded some laundry. Going to do some reading and some research online this morning. Dd is coming today & staying a couple nights. We'll be out shopping tomorrow looking for some clothes for her to wear as she starts her student teaching soon.
Hope you all have a nice day.

Yawn, woke up at 4AM to hubbies boss calling and telling him that the guys derailed a train car in the NS yard so he (boss) was running the guys in for mandatory drug testing and hubby has to come in NOW to get the car back on the rails and OUT OF THERE, ahhh, what a way to start the day, poor man worked until 11PM last night covering for another guy out sick so he's POOPED! At least it's cool that early

I've already run the dogs, put in the cows and fed them, put out the mares, fed all the horses, collected a few eggs, mixed grain for tonight and had a LOT of coffee (I see a nap in my plans this afternoon!)

Now it's time for laundry, weeding in the garden, treck to the mail box about 1 o'clock, sweeping the floors (again, bloodhound is shedding enough to make a kitten a day) and then pick veggies in the garden for dinner.

    yawn,

For some reason my body clock kicked on around 4am, so I guess I'm in for another long day around here, also! LOL I am just trying to get as much of the little piddling housework done so we can have a fairly carefree weekend. I wish I was getting ready for a camping trip! I hope that you have fun, Lisa!

I'm gonna work out for 45 minutes on the gazelle, clean, do a load of laundry and fold 2, make a huge salad for dinner, do some paperwork. I've got some phone calls to make too. I might swim when it gets really hot this afternoon.
It's gonna be over 100 again here today, yesterday it was 106. Ugh.

    Default My day

Woke up at 6am, started laundry, put the goats in the garden to clean it out, talked a bit with the contractor who came out to the new house early this morning. The rest of the day will consist of trying to get in touch with the electrician who needs to come back to move some outlets in the kitchen. Arrrgh! I'm having the backsplash tiled tomarrow and these outlets have got to be moved. Mickie (13 yr old daughter) is away for three days with her youth group at church, so I'm home alone during the day until hubby gets home from work this afternoon. Not much to keep up with here in the camper and it only takes maybe half and hour each morning to get evrything in order. Not much cooking going on here either with the small stove, so we grill out alot. We also eat alot of salads for supper since it's so hot.

So, that's about it for me today. I can't wait to move into the new house and get things back to normal again though.

Took DS to the pediatrician this morning. (He's doing great!) The process of getting everyone bathed and ready, having my sister come to watch DD while we went, taking my sister back home, etc.... took a couple of hours, and, well, the whole morning was gone. Picked up Taco Bell for lunch.

This afternoon I need to do a load of baby laundry, do some research online about a plumbing problem, write some thank-you notes, spend some 1-1 time with DD (who's a little jealous of DS right now) and figure out what we're having for supper.

This evening I'll run to the store for a few things after the kids are asleep and DH is here to watch them.

I am working every weekend and every other Thursday (7PM till 7AM) through the end of summer so I worked last night and will work all weekend, not off again until Monday. I have a roast in the crock pot for supper tonight and tomorrow night. I will be taking mine to work with me and my supper will be at about 1AM . I just woke up a bit ago and will do a quick clean of the house and mop the kitchen floor, toss in a load of laundry and then finish the sides for supper and it will then be time to start getting ready for work.

The boys and I did a little grocery shopping today. Will finish it up tomorrow. It was hot and I wanted to come home. LOL!

We stopped by and looked at another car for DS#1 on the way home, and they let him bring it home for the weekend. He can take it back on Monday and let them know if he likes it. It is nothing fancy, but it is clean. I prefer his other car, but it went to car heaven with other wrecked cars. BOOHOO! It is a 2001 Saturn, which I hear are pretty safe......something he needs. DH will check it over this weekend and then we will decide what we want to do.

DS#3 will be spending the night with friends tonight. They said to bring his swim trunks for a midnight swim. Um, I would like to go because it is HOT!!!

DH is umpiring the last game of the tournament tonight. It is for the championship. We will go watch.....free entertainment.

I will work on some health homework later. I have some work due while we are on vacation and I want to get ahead so that I can enjoy the vacatio without worrying about if I done it or not.

We had gulley washer here today, so I took DD to Walmart and bought new sheets for beds. I think we should all have one extra pair of sheets. Next comes the heat.....ugh!
