Hey Ya'll....I'm back!
Sorry it's been so long since I've been here, but so much has been going on since my last post.
My old computer finally bit the dust. Shortly after that, we bought a camper, sold the mobile home we were living in and started building our new home. We are now living in the camper until the house is finished which we hope will be somewhere around the middle of August. I finally broke down and bought a new laptop, but with everything going on with the house, I haven't found much time to be online. I'm now starting to find a little free time so thought I would check in.
I hope this finds everyone happy and well.
It's great to be back again!

So nice to see you again! How exciting about the house, can you tell us more about it? August is almost here, bet you can't wait to move out of that camper.

Hi Ya'll,
Thanks for the warm welcome back. Been very busy with the the house since I was here last. We were all set to move in next weekend and then a major set back occured. Last Friday the plumbers installed the fridge and hooked up the water line to the ice maker. This past Monday morning, the contractor and myself walked in to find almost the whole house flooded. The water line to the ice maker had burst sometime during the night. I walked over there the day before (Sunday evening) to take a few measurements and everything was fine. Well, the hardwood is shot and will have to be replaced. The plumber took full responsibility for all damages. Flooring guy says it will take twice as long to remove the damaged flooring than it did to install it, so we are now looking at the middle of September to move in.
Well now that the shock has worn off, we are moving ahead. Mickie started private school this past Thursday. When I went to pick up the uniform skirts I had ordered for her, I was told that there is a material shortage and it may be as late as October before she receives her skirts. I was then told by the school that she could wear any plain navy blue skirt as long as the length was below the knee. WooHoo! I was able to find two skirts, right length, right size, right color, at a local discount store on sale for $7.99 each.
After home schooling for the past two years, it's quite a change for both of us. She loves it and has already made alot of friends. I'm a blubbering mess cause I miss her being with me every day. She did great with the home schooling, but we felt she needed to be around kids her own age.
Life goes on.........and so will I.

Hi Carolyn,
Look who is here. It seems we were thinking the same thing. You beat back me by a month. I just came back yesterday. I happened to see your name. It is nice to be back here. I came back to get some debt reduction tips. Lots of other good things here too.
