Well it's
Well it's 10:23am and it is 100 out. I can smell the smoke from the Redlands fire (about 20 miles from me.) My sister lives there. Plus the sawtooth fire and the millard fire murged yesterday. So noe Big bear has to worry almost 75000 acres has burned in that fire.
FernYes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

Fern - Sorry that fire is so close to you and your sister. Forest fires sure are scary. We live in the Colorado mountains and have had fires somewhat near us. I know how you are feeling - you are in my prayers.

Stay safe!
We get trouble out this way sometimes, too, but I am down in the city so at least my home is fairly safe. The people in the hills a mile from here, not so much.
We had a front row seat with all the smoke and flames from the "Topanga" fire last year (which WAS NOT in Topanga, BTW - it started west of Topanga Cyn Bl in CHATSWORTH and got a dumb name).

Hate those things you have no control of.
Any new news Fern?

Prayers coming your way from Ohio, hubby and I were just talking about the fires tonight and commenting on how happy we are we live in Ohio where they're unheard of. We'll take tornados any day over fire and earthquakes!
