    Glad you're getting rain. . .

It rained here a couple days ago, but the temps never dropped-- so it was like a sauna outdoors. . . 100 % humidity, temps 95- 100 degrees . . ugh.

Good for you! We need some rain, even though we did have a shower a few days ago. We're still very, very dry though.

It was raining here also. We had lots of thunder and lightening to go with it. Love thunder storms!

We had a gulleywasher here about 2:00 am today. I was up for an hour waiting for it to dissipate. It was also a severe storm. Anyway, three inches of rain in 45 min. Drat! the basement is all wet again.

kabin63 - sorry to hear that your basement got water again. 3 inches is a lot of rain to get in 45 min!

We are under a thunderstorm watch here till 7:00 pm! I am hoping that it does rain, maybe it will cool off these crazy temps that we are having!

I would love to have some of that rain too. It is so dry here that the ground is cracking and everything is turning brown and withering in the heat and drought. DH is out every morning at 6:30 am before he leaves for work watering our trees and shrubs trying to keep them alive. I am sooooo ready for fall.
