    Smile What's going on today?

This morning dd and I have to make a trip to the library, then we will be going to Walmart for socks and undies for school, then home to hang out and clean. I may make chicken soup for supper. What is everyone else doing?

Farmers market for fresh vegies, do some audits for a friend, go to the library, see if there is anything we need for groceries and finally go see my father.

We're supposed to be feeling the effects of Hurricane Beryl yesterday and today. So far it's just been raining on and off.

I doubt we'll be doing much today. Hanging around here, will probably work some and I'll probably study "The Complete Tightwad Gazette" and practice knitting some more.

We were going to go to the beach, but it looks like rain. Which ticks me off. The weather said rain & thunderstorms yesterday...nada. They said it would be nice today, so we decided Thursday night to go to the beach on Sat instead of Fri. And dh scheduled the brakes to be done on the van, so I was homebound. See how well that worked out. It was beautiful yesterday, nothing but clouds today with storms on the way.

I think we'll go to the Mall instead. The beach was supposed to be my oldest dd's birthday trip. It's postponed until Monday (which will probably be less crowded anyway). SO it's the danged mall for me. And don't think I'm happy about it LOL!

But on the way to the mall I'm going to drop off my film to be developed. Dh & I went to see Trent Tomlinson at the county fair last night. HE IS AWESOME!!! If you ever get a chance to go, GO!

Cleaning and hanging out at home today. I'm feeling motivated to do some decluttering, so plan to spend most of the day working on that.

My MIL just called and she may stop by later to visit.

We're having out of town company stop in for a quick visit tommorow evening, so if I get especially motivated I might bake some cookies or something for their visit.

Insulating the attic. Got some great deals on flooring and porch lights from Lowes. Got all this stuff foe $150.00, but it's worth $500.00 regular retail. Yipeeee!

It is raining here today, so I went already and had a hair cut, I hadn't one since March. Way over due for that. Then , DD #1 and Dh we are going to Pittsburg to do some shopping and to find some deals. I need a pair of black tennis shoes for my new job that I start on Monday. We will probably splurge and eat out, we haven't done that for awhile. The other 2 kids are on vacation with my parents, and sister at a lake in TN. I think they are going to Dollywood today. Gotta love Dollywood.

Not doing much today, DH and I already did our outside chores and errands for the day. Its going to be blazing hot again. We're web surfing until we put the A/C on. It only cools off the living room and kitchen so we have to close off the rest of the house which gets way too hot and the puters are in a bedroom. DH was talking about going to the coast this weekend, we may do that tomorrow.

Raining here today, just got up from a quickie snooze after reading for a bit. The rain is just making me sleepy. Went to the library just before lunch, needed to bring back a book before it was overdue and of coarse I had to pick up some new ones.

Heading to the lake tomorrow to celebrate my fil's 84th & bil's 54th b'day. Hoping for good weather. Lost some weight since last summer and am actually looking forward to putting on my bathing suit.

Just going to putter around the rest of today and get little things done. Dinner is leftovers so no fuss.
