Glad to be here. . .from Central Florida
Hi everyone! I feel so lucky to have found this website. I've been getting some GREAT ideas from a lot of people. It's also so nice to know that any difficulties I may go through, I'm not alone. I find comfort in that. I have posted a few times and decided that I should probably post something in the Welcome Wagon.
I am a 50 y/o single mother of 1 daughter (26 y/o) and a grandmother of 3 boys. Two boys are my daughter's and 1 boy is her fiance's little boy. They live in south Florida. I have been a single mother since my daughter's birth. It was plenty hard for many, many years. Things are better now than they used to be, but I still have some difficulties now and then. But, I think of myself as an "experienced survivor", so I know I'll get through anything that comes my way. (even when it feels like I won't).
I have worked with the same employer for over 30 years. I have some debt, but not a lot. The largest debt is my SUV which I got last year.
I look forward to reading and sharing ideas, thoughts and woes with everyone. I have noticed a common theme in the threads. . .Compassion. . .that is really nice!!!

Mine is a Pontiac Aztec. Looks sort of like a tank to me, but it drives beautifully. I just love it!!
