I have a 2003 Pontiac Aztec. I haven't filled it up completely in a while because I really don't put hardly any miles on it (maybe 10-12 miles a week) and the gas prices haven't come down enough for me. So I put in maybe $20 every 2 or 3 weeks.

I have a 2006 Saturn VUE, but I am lucky to only work about 1 1/2 miles away from my work.

Ouch! That's painful! I drive a crew cab dually that's diesel and it had two tanks. I never run either tank under 1/4 to keep the fuel pumps from being exposed long term, Click and Clack say that'll cause them to rust So to basically do a 3/4 fill up it cost me over $60.00 last time I filled it and fuel was $2.89 at the time, it's gone up since then.

Hubby drives a ranger and fills up at least 2x a week, last month he went through over $300.00 in gas.

I don't have an SUV, but I have a minivan...with four kids, there's no other option I haven't filled it completely up in a couple weeks. I've been putting $50 in it and that gets me about 3/4 of a tank. I figure it probably takes close to $75 to fill it now.

I remember when we first got it (4 yrs ago) it cost us barely $35 to fill it

I don't have an SUV, I have a jeep, which is a little different to me. I have budgeted $70 a month for gas, but recently had to bump that up to $100 because of extra running this summer for DD extra activities and stuff. School starts again in less than a month and I should be able to get back down to $70 a month again. I hope.

Chevy Suburban here takes between 65 and 75 to fill it. We drive it 100's of miles a day as we work out of town like Bradenton to Orlando or Bradenton to Plant City. So we fill up 2 to 4 times a week. But we have figured the extra cost of gas into our jobs.

I have a Jeep Liberty and dh has a Jeep Wrangler. I put close to $50 in my gas tank before we left for vacation, and I was really on empty. It usually takes around $40-$45 a fill up for each of our vehicles. I yearn for the days that $25 filled up the tank.

My jeep takes about 40.00...Dh's truck is 50.00 to fill. I can go about 2 weeks on mine....his depends on how much he's out of town, etc.

Our Forester is technically considered a "small SUV." One of the reasons we boght it (5 years ago) was specifically because of the gas mileage- I live FAR from where I work. I'd say we put about $40 a week in, only if we don't make any trips back home or anything. That's just a guess, though, because DH puts all the gas in.

I have a 2002 Buick Renedevous. It cost me between $35-$40 a week for gas. I get about 20 miles per gallon.

I kicked around the idea of trading it in for a more gas effient car but I only have one more year before this is paid off and I don't want to take on anymore debt which I would have to in order to buy a different car. So I'm just making due for now. Honestly, when I ran the numbers I'm a lot better off for now just keeping it.

I have a 1999 Ford Explorer. I was almost on empty the other day and my DD17 filled it up for me (with my money of course LOL). It was $51.00!! It's awful!

I have a Chevy Subarban 2500 8.1L. I fill it up, on adverage, once a week because we travel in it to go camping. It runs anywhere from $80-$95 to fill it up.

We have a Chevy Suburban, which we dont' drive anymore, because it's just too expensive. We're planning to sell it.
We also have a Jeep Cherokee, which cost around $45 to fill up. I think, I haven't filled it up in a while, because we end up driving our Toyota Camry almost everyhwere now. (Except dh's work, he's riding his motorcycle to work almost everyday this summer. That really saves gas!)

DH and I both drive SUV's. Mine is a Trail Blazer, and takes between $45-50 to fill it up. We use it the most, so we fill it about every five to six days.

DH's Blazer takes the same amount of gas, but, we drive it a lot less often.
