Default What kind Camera do you have?

I just bought a digital camera for DH for Christmas, I know it's early..LOL, but we don't have a camera and we really need one. I bought a Nikon cool-pix at Walmart. I kept looking at all the cameras and kept going back to this one for the simplicity and ease of use. The best part? I paid cash that I had earned doing chores and animal care for other people.

This is one of the things I'm willing to splurge on. I recently sold our camcorder, which we got ourselves as a Christmas gift several years ago, so that I could afford to buy the Sony DSC-N1. It was pricey, but I feel we should have the best camera we can afford because it's recording our memories.

I have the Canon Digital Rebel with all the bells, whistles and about 29 lbs of lenses and attachments. I would not suggest it for a casual family use, lots to learn and not small enough to just take and rediculously expensive, but for my purpose it's fabulous.

Jerseygirl...You have my camera!! lol I have a 35mm Canon Rebel right now. And a small digital camera. I've been drooling over the Canon Digital Rebel since they came out. lol But I can't justify the $$ that would cost to buy it so I'm happy with the Rebel I have right now.

I'm a disposible camera person. Its idiot proof and if it gets lost or damaged I'm only out 4 bucks. Bought DH a fancy digtial camera for Christmas last year and he keeps forgetting to save pictures for me. With my camera thats never a problem I can't delete or have the batteries die and lose everything.

We have a Kodak EasyShare. We thought it was the greatest thing ever when we bought it a few years ago, but we really hardly ever use it now.

I have a Kodak Easyshare digital camera which I dearly love. I love being able to download my pictures into my computer. They're great!

We have a Sony Cybershot which we bought right before our vacation this summer. DH had been determined to get this camera since last December (after much research) and had a "Camera Fund" for which he saved part of his gas/spending money each week. (Unbeknownst to me) Each week he put some money in a coffee can and stuck it in our home's crawl space/attic. I thought that was so cool, since when we first married many years ago he was definitely not much of a saver and now he's come so far. That's my man!

Ok, I broke down and gave it to him early so that we can have pictures of our progress on the house and other things too. He likes it. couldn't believe I had done that, but it has been so long since I have been able to do something like this for him. Just felt soooo good to do something nice for DH.

Canon....something or other. You can take short videos with it too, but we haven't done that with it yet and we've had it almost a year and a half.
