Talking Good morning, whatcha going to do today?

Started bright and early bringing the cows in and turning the mares out. This has become and interesting job around here as one of the steers doesn't seem to realize he's NOT a bull and that I'm the boss mama around here! Nothing like having to chuck rocks at a 1300 pound animal first thing in the morning who wants to run you over! Especially when I hadn't had any coffee yet!

Now I'm heading out to hay the horses and mix and soak their grain (gee, their not spoiled or anything, they get "hot cereal" for breakfast here).

Then into the garden for a bit to see what's there to freeze today and to weed, weed, weed. I put up 4 gallon bags of broccoli yesterday. Then to grain the horses, move them around and then in to grab and hang the laundry.

I also get to call to get my truck towed in today to get the brakes and clutch fixed, yippee, I'll get my wheels back!

I bet by about 2 I'll be ready for a nap, then start it all over again, horses in, cows out, garden again to find dinner, feed the horses and make sure hubbies all set for the evening.

So what's in store for your day?

Just finishing my coffee. I have to head into work an hour early today. I slept like poop (as usual) and am feeling the drag already lol. I need to get some more bed time tea.

Any recommendations for a good bed time tea that's not Celestial Seasonings?

After work ds has a t-ball game so I have to make a quick dinner then rush off to that. Tomorrow I have an interview for a job MUCH closer to home than the 45 min drive I currently have Fingers crossed!!

Sending good thoughts on the interview Yankeemom!

And to give you guys a laugh I should mention that in bringing the cows in I just KNOW I'm quite a site, I'm 5'10" and maybe 120 soaking wet (yep, a bean pole) with wild curly hair, and I'm out there barefoot hooting and hollering at them in jean shorts and a strap t-shirt, yep, never dull for MY neighbors!

Shoes are taboo for me in the summer, you'd about have to sit on me to put them on me!

I am going to work on more cool neck wraps today. I made some for DH and my DFIL to wear at work to help with the heat and DH's co-workers all wanted to purchase them and my DFIL's customers asked about purchasing them so I am making more to sell. So far I have sold about a dozen, so that is extra money for the EF, woohoo .

Other than that I am just going to do laundry and a little light housework. I hope everyone has a great day.

Did my workout on the treadmill this morning, watered the garden, put a load in the dishwasher, painted a second coat on the bathroom door and now I'm just checking in with you all.
Have to fix lunch, shower and get ready for work in a few hours.

Just finished cleaning the bathroom. It feels good getting that done. Next it's work and after that more decluttering in the bedroom.

Kj, I don't know how you do all that you have to do. I wouldn't last a day on a farm. The work seems never ending and hard, too!!

Well, kj, I know what kind of work you are doing there with the horses and the cows and such. I usually care for my neighbors animals when she is out of town. I love doing it though. I also cared for horses at a stable this last weekend. Love those beautiful animals.
To answer your question. I am cleaning out the attic. Not much fun, but have to do it so that DH can finish building walls up there to seal it all up before cold weather arrives.

    This one is good: http://www.bigelowtea.com/shop/detai...&sc=5&pi=00086
I drink both it and the Celestial Seasonings one.

My day will be pretty quiet, since the baby and I only got about 3-4 hours of sleep last night. Some more decluttering (I'm really on a roll these last few days) and some menu-planning... that's about all I have planned. Oh, and I've got a load of laundry washing right now, and two loads waiting to be folded/put away.

Nothing really. Its sooooo messy here today! Alot of the counties around us, and us, are under flash flood warnings and its been pouring like crazy so I'm taking it easy. We had a break in the rain so I ran over to mom's so I could come visit the village. No laundry since its raining. But I did manage to shine my sink (I'm a flybaby!) and work in my Zone alittle bit. I'll go home in a little while and start supper and do some more cleaning.

Working until 4:00, then I have class until 8:00. DH is going to his friend's house tonight, so I'll be on my own when I get home. I'll have some cereal for dinner (I don't cook, DH does), do the laundry, and either do some sewing or hang some pictures that are still sitting around from when we moved in.

Well, I got up early this morning, showered and did my hair. Had all 3 of the kids up, dressed and fed by 9. Made the beds, enjoyed a cup of coffee or two and did the dishes. We were out the door by 9:20 to drop of hubbys dry cleaning. Then we headed to the Super WalMart to go grocery shopping. Home by 11. Put it all away, cleaned the bathroom, fed the kids lunch and put the baby down for his nap. I then swept the drive, cleaned off the back deck, and did 2 loads of laundry. Then it was snack time. Did the dishes, cleaned up the kitchen and vaccumed. By this time it was time to start dinner, then bathes and now they are FINALLY in bed (all but the oldest). It's time for me to veg, watch TV and fall asleep in my chair. Hope everyone had a wonderful day!
