    Oooh! I moved from South Bend to the Southwest. Some of your great $$-saving opportunities are:

    * a great Farmers' Market.
    * Aldi. I still have dreams about Aldi. Bring a quarter when you go. And your own bags.
    * DOUBLE COUPONS! I used to get great buys @ Meijer w/ double coupons!
    * Dollar theaters. And there was an older theater in Niles, Michigan that showed first-run movies. Our family of 4 could get tickets and snacks for $20.
    * There's even a drive-in about an hour out of South Bend.

    And, of course, the housing is cheap. (We paid around $50/sq ft for our last house.)
