Hasn't this been the strangest summer all over the country? Tonight they had as much as 7 INCHES of rain just north of us! No rain here yet, should be hitting around 2am or so and then yep like Kathy said gonna be HOT here!

The weather forecast for the weekend is calling for highs around 101-106 here; I've run my AC all week long because it hasn't been cooling down in the evenings. This is North Dakota! It's not supposed to get this hot up here! I am going to hate to see my electric bill.

This is our ninth day in the triple digits......

I always try and keep it in perspective though.....dd spent a year in Iraq, carrying 40-60 pounds of gear. She said she was just *wet* all the time. Nobody really complains because *it aint gonna change*! Now, she says even if it's hot...as long as nobody is shooting at you, it's a good day!

Like kj said, The heat is comming. It has been a hot summer indeed. I thought it would be cooler since last summer was hot, but this year all the rain too. So, what do you think the winter will be like? I know that around here, if it stays hot late into the summer and fall we usually get a really cold/snowy winter. anyone else watch the patterns year to year?

I find every year here in PEI that there less snow, maybe 5 storms in all all winter. thats not good for the fields and farmers and all the water wells. I find we had this year a late hot summer. When I went to school usually in June we were dying with the heat, and now its later in the year. It just started two weeks, the heat and I bet August will be akiller. Septemeber wont be cold, I have afeeling. And spring never seems to get here, too mush frost or late snow.
Rain in New Brunswick a couple of weeks was 50m.m. thats alot.

The weather guy said that with the heat coming it's a good thing we had the rain, although it will feel like it's 100 outside or more, the fact that we had the rain to cool the ground and therefore the temps will stay in the 90s. That is still hot!
