Just catching up on chores from our busy weekend. I went to a birthday party last night. I guess the word has spread that I have been known to make zucchini relish out of those enormous zucchini that have been left in the garden for about 20 minutes too long. lol When we left the party it was dark and about 2 minutes down the road I noticed a bag on the hood of the car. I then had dh pull over so I could see what it was inside and to take the bag off the hood. And guess what was inside? So today I will be digging up my canning equipment to make relish sometime this week.

Doing some sewing today and some housework. I need to vacuum and give the bathrooms a good cleaning. I am going to take a nap sometime this afternoon also, I worked last night from 7PM to 7AM and have been up since 4:00 yesterday afternoon. I am starting to feel the winds going out of my sails, LOL.

    Have a great day everyone.

Lots of little things...painting (where did I put that blue tape?? LOL), 2 loads of laundry, washing new fabric, returning books at the library, store run for a couple of things, and of course taking care of the kids.

    So far I've:

    Worked out
Had lunch with Gripey (from the pantry)
Done 1 load of laundry, need to do another
Talked to a friend, long distance for free
My quarterly reports (just got em mailed under the wire ~ Whew!)
Figured my checkbook and paid a couple of bills
About to do payroll check for our employee

    Still to do:
    Make homemade laundry soap
    1 load of laundry
Make homemade yogurt (first batch woo hoo!)
Get supper cooked and cleaned up

I think that's it for the day.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

Spent the day helping DH paint the outside of an existing Carrbaabas. I will never, never eat at one of their resturants. We arrived at 8 am to find the outside dining area still with dirt, food filled plates on the tables!!! We won't even discuss what I had to sweep up off the floor so I could put down a drop cloth before we began work! And the loading dock area YUCK & UGH! Went back there to rinse out a roller in the mop sink. This group need to learn about dumping out old mop water and rinsing mops. Theres and old saying about not needing to see the back of your favorite resturants or the basements of hospitals well let me tell you , I don't eat at home because I'm cheap its beacsue I HAVE seen those areas.
