    Monitoring it, but nothing other than that. I hate to wish it on anyone else, but I really hope it stays on the path they have predicted right now and goes into the gulf (and does NOT turn back in on FL!).

    Oh, have I missed it? Is there a hurricane on the way? My cousin was one of the many hit by Katrina last year in the New Orleans area.

    I'm trying to keep happy thoughts, and hope this storm doesn't do anything. Prayers are being said! I got some of the wind from Katrina last year, but my town recieved a direct hit from Dennis (as well as tropical storms Arlene and Cindy, which weren't too bad). Will be keeping my eye on it, and double checking my hurricane supplies.
