Dadgummit Darlene, I'm sorry to hear this
. What a pain. Hope you get the tree down and the insurance does what you've been paying hard earned money for it to do.

He's coming over tomorrow morning to take it down. I'll be calling the insurance co. too to see how they want me to deal with getting the car fixed.
Bonus~Plumber is coming on Tues to put in a water pressure tank. Fun abounds!
Still have my glasses from the last time he was here so I'm all set.

Sorry about your car and the tree besides everything else, just sucks. Now Jack and I had a car like that once, we called it our 6 Million Dollar car! ROFL Funny now but it sure wasn't then!

Darlene,
You'd better order the crack spackle that Shell posted. If I were you, I would have it shipped over-night!! I think as a public service you should supply all of us with a pair of those crack reflecting glasses. If it reflects the crack, I hope someone doesn't get blinded if they happen to be in the line of the reflection!!

Awww Darlene...I must tell you that when I joined just a few weeks ago.."the plumber" incident was the first thread I read.
I laughed and laughed.
But I think that when the plumber stops by on Tuesday that you won't be able to look at him w/o laughing. I'll be thinking about you answering the door. LOL
Sorry about the car. Can you cut the tree up for firewood?

Darlene, that's a bummer! I think there is a curse on that car. You have luck with cars like we do here.
I hope the insurance company gets the car fixed quickly and without any problems!

Thanks for the well wishes, not only for my car but for my eyes.

Yes we will be using the wood next heating season but isn't the kind that gives off a lot of heat.
I put some pics in the gallery for you all to see of the tree incident, not plumbers crack.
Prob add some more of the mess taking the tree down will make. There are 5 more limbs like the one that hit my car to come down plus the massive trunk you can see (sort of) in one of the pics.
