Uncle~updated with photos in gallery
Ok, enough already. Just replaced a tv, water softner, refrigerator. Just paid Marks tuition yesterday...
Since Jan ( I think) had the car in because the transmission went (thank goodness we got an extended warrenty so only had to pay $100) Then car got nailed by someone taking a turn to wide and was in the shop for bodywork for days. Then the air conditioning pump went on it. Today as dh just got out of work, parked the car & went in to change & I am outside picking eggplant in the garden & ds is parking his car after working all day & a mega limb (branch) falls off a tree and misses the garage except for a mercury vapor light , misses the truck but nails our "new" car. This car is jinxed, I swear. The trunk is mashed in and with the tree on it the front tires were almost off the ground and the rear was mushed onto the tires. We got the chainsaws out and cleared it all off. Took pics for insurance purposes. Looks like a lot of bodywork to the rear but no glass was broken and we're not sure how the shocks etc. are. Un-freakin believable. So on Monday I'll call insurance & see about getting a claim going and need to call a tree guy to take down the rest of the tree. Man. Glad nobody was hurt but man I'm crying Uncle, I've had enough! Maybe I'll post a pic or 2 in the gallery when I figure out how to resize. UGH~*Darlene*~

Oh Darlene, come run away with us to a tropical island, bring that cabana boy of yours! I'd get that car fixed and sell or trade it in, it does seem to be cursed! We had a truck like that once, got rid of that puppy!
Hugs hun!

We've been married over 20 years & never had a claim for insurance on any of our vehicles.... Ready for that vaca with you and all our friends. I was screaming no no as the tree is falling...it didn't care.

I am soooo sorry. My husband had a "cursed" car. He had never been in an accident before and in 6 months he had 2. He sold it a short time later.

Thanks for your understanding.
This tree is a big ole Linden tree with 6 huge forks branching out, one of which landed on my car. Calling our tree guy in a few min & hope that he can come get the rest down today. So sad to see it go, it's a beautidul but old & dangerous tree. Wish me luck that he can come get it down today before it does more damage. It's threatening our shed, electrical & cable lines, patio... I'll let you know how it goes.
Ps. If he does come take it down we'll be cleaning it up ourselves to save some money. Sounds like a fun summertime thing to do, yeehaw.

WOW, Darlene, when it rains it pours, doesn't it? Best of luck with the insurance claim, I sure hope it does not affect your rates too terribly. Hugs from Canada!

Thanks, the tree guy is coming this afternoon to look at it. So glad I got a hold of him, weekends in the summer isn't the best time to get a hold of anyone.
