Heather, that's how the market is here...ours has almost doubled in 4 years.
It's crazy. I feel fortunate that we got into this house when we did. We could never afford it at today's prices! I don't know how people are buying houses here. Especially if they have any debt at all...we have no other debt, and it was a stretch for us at the time. I wonder if people are doing those interest only loans??? (yikes!!!)

I hear ya, we bought our house 4 years ago as well and it's almost doubled in value. We couldn't afford a house in this area anymore. We BRIEFLY thought of moving to another house, then we saw what the payment would be. This house looked REAL nice after seeing those numbers.
About those interest only loans. What are they? How do they work? How long do you only pay interest?

Cathy, I think yours is so nice, and I adore the area you are in. I have a friend over off of Lake Hazel Rd. Boise is one place very high on our list of retirement locations. I joke with my husband that if I get back near Idaho, he's not going to be able to drag me out again!!!

well, I figured out the photobucket thing (which is really cool by the way)

but..... when it created the album, it flipped the pics from last to first.... oh well........ tell me if this works.........

yes, it has that very "lived in" feel (which is really just a nice way of saying that you won't get out without being covered in pet hair)

is there anyone who can walk me through the photobucket thing. i already signed up for a acocunt, i just can't figure out how to list them & show all my frugal village friends...........HELP!!!!!

1- make sure you have the "image upload" tab up & not the "video upload"
2- I changed the "submit multiple images" to 20
3- click on the "browse" to find your photo, I don't know where you have yours, but mine were under "my computer"

4- once you find your photos, just double click & it will add it to photobucket, then you can add a description
5 - unclick the "keep orginal name" box if you gave your pics names
6 - click "submit" and it will upload, takes a while if you have alot of pics
7 - copy the address from photobucket (you should be looking at your own pics by then) & paste into here.

My favorite is the 1/2 bathroom downstairs, it is a pale purple.... my hubby said "ok, just one room, no more purple"

so......... I used the left-over purple & left over sage green to paint the laundry room..... I figured he didn't spend enough time in there to have an opinion.
