Default Tour of Homes

This is something I had stumbled upon last night on another site. A bunch of ladies had gotten together and posted a link to where they had posted pictures of their homes. I had a lot of fun sifting through them last night, and thought it would be fun to do that here. I hope no one minds. I love seeing others homes (YankeeMoms is especially beautiful), how they decorate and live.

I already had some pics posted for friends and family to see the work we had done to our home (it was a dump when we bought it). Any messes, please excuse. I didn't post all the rooms in our home as some are just too messy to show (my bathroom, my oldest sons room, storage room, sunroom). My Mom also lives with us, we took a portion (lower level, walk out basement) of our home and converted it into an apartment for her complete with full bath, kitchen, living room, bedroom and private entrance. I didn't show her area.

But anyway, I hope others will join and invite us in.

Here's my pictures, welcome to our home.

Thank you for all the lovely compliments. I was hoping others would post pics of their homes as well. Come on, it's fun.
The house is about 17 years old. It was aweful when we purchased it and pretty much had to gut it. The big room had pink walls with purple trim and matching pink carpet. The rest of the house had wood paneling all over it. When we went to closing we had to take a chain saw in the car as it was so overgrown out front. We wouldn't have been able to get our furniture in the door. What a mess. I hope others share their homes with us.

Lisa, It's lovely. I love seeing other's homes as well. I had some posted here in the decorating forum, not sure if they're still available or not. If not I'll post again. Thanks for sharing! It was fun and I love your style. Everything is so clean and inviting.

    Hey Lisa,
You've done a lovely job with your home. We are currently in the middle of a huge remodel on our home. We put a 24x32 ft. addition on and are now in the process of going through the gut and rebuild phase of th eold portion. It was only 624 sq. ft. to begin with. Now at 1488 sq.ft. and added a wrap around porch on front. We have a ways to go but will post some of the pics when we are nearing completion.

Your house is beautiful. I love the stained glass window in the entry, the wood ceilings, your kitchen counters/floors. DH and I have a rental house for now. We're hoping to buy within the next 2-3 years. I've included the link to a couple of my pictures. They are a little blurry. I'll add more this weekend. You can't see much from these. I have a CD with my other pictures on it.

for some reason, I can't get Flickr to load on the laptop...or maybe it's because of Mozilla...

Heather, it worked fine with IE. I love your home! I don't know how you keep a 14-year-olds room that clean! I am totally green with envy! (of your home, and the clean!)

Lisa, you have done amazing work. I love the wood ceiling! And I love your Americana shelves!
