    Default Hi, From a newbie in NY!

    Hi everyone, I just joined today and thought I would pop in and introduce myself. My name is Rie and I live in upstate NY with my dh in a town that has more farm animals that people!! LOL. We own our farm, we did have over 300 acres till last fall, we sold some that we didn't use since the land taxes are so high. We raise our own beef and pork, and looking into buying a few goats. We grow most all of our own vegetables and trying to be as self sufficeint as possible. I am a homemaker and a volunteer EMT for our rescue squad. We have 6 children with one still living at home.
    I look forward to meeting others and learning from some of you!

    Howdy and welcome. We have 4 pygmy goats. We bought 2 but amazingly the female really got fat! 3 weeks ago we got twins.
    ~July 19 saving goal for event $104/$1000
