    Question food dehydrators

    I didn't know where to post this so I willpost it here.

    Does anyone here use a food dehydrator, or have you ever used one? I was wondering about the benefits, besides storage. I bought one 7 years ago, I know, not very frugal, but haven't used it. I keep thinking I will give it a try. So, what's your take? I am trying to decide if I sell it or keep it and actually use the thing to dry veggies, etc...
    TIA

    We only really ever make beef jerky with ours. Yummy! Oh, wait, DH dried some celery root with it once but it didn't really come out the texture he was trying for.

    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
    faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
    you will be given something solid to stand on,
    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily
    coming to an end;
    bribery and corruption are common; children no
    longer obey their parents;
    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”

    an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.

    God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
    courage to change the things I can,
    and the wisdom to know the difference
