Default She spent the day in the closet

My poor dog!!!! I accidentally closed the closet doors on her and she had to spend the whole day in the closet. It seemed really eerie when I got home tonight and there was NO dog at the door greeting me. My heart was racing. I tiptoed around the house looking for her. I thought she was dead.

I'm glad she didn't try to eat the door open!

Did the same to our pooch. Went to dh's shop to grab some drinks, she followed me in, she was so quiet I didn't know. I turned off the lights and locked it up. We didn't realize she wasn't running in the backyard for about 4 hours. Thank goodness it was early spring and not hot or cold, but it was dark and she sure was happy to see us, lol.

When I was small, our pregnant cat climbed into the laundry basket in the hall closet. We went away for the weekend and when we came back, the basket was full of kittens. I think that she was in there for 2 1/2 days...

I have done that to my oldest cat. Now I never shut anything without checking throughly. That pathetic meowing when they get stuck just breaks my heart...esp. since it's usually my fault for accidentally closing them in!
