Default The weekend is almost here....what ya doin?

It's our city celebration this weekend so tonite I'm going to the all school reunion. One of my best friends since 5th grade is coming to spend the nite with us and go with us. We're gonna have dinner here at home and then go tonite. We may spend some time sipping margaritas by the pool afterward.

Tomorrow we'll get up early and gas all of our vehicles up b/c the c-store is having a promo for gas a $1 off tomorrow ( ). We'll be filling our 2 up, Mom and Dad's and my friend's at that price. Woo Hoo. Then we'll do the parade, the bbq and come back to the house to swim for the afternoon. Gripey is gonna go to the football scrimmage and me and dfriend might too, dunno yet. Then it's the street dance tomorrow nite. I'm really looking forward to this. In year's past I've skipped out b/c of my weight issues. How stupid is that? Anyway, should be fun.

So what's up for you and your's this weekend? Got anything fun planned?

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

Your life is so much more exciting than mine. . lol. I am planning on doing my normal routines. . .housework. . .laundry. . .yard work. I am going to try out a new recipe I came across for a quiche (I just love quiche).

We will be preparing for our OAMC this weekend. Along w/ laundry and all that other mundane stuff. I've got some new recipes to plug in to our menu's so it will be fun. I can't wait to get it finished!

Not much going on here. Hubby is away camping until sunday and I have no vehicle, so I'm stuck at home. Will probably do some cleaning that I have been putting off. The boys got some beads and are planning on making bracelets for the grandmas and I may take them swimming. I started crocheting my first doily and may finish it tonight. If it isn't too lopsided I'll try another one. This one doesn't seem to lay as flat as I think it should, but it's not too bad yet.

We have to go to the mall because dh's workshirts are finally getting threadbare and worn. So, off we go to buy a few more.

I'm going to call the mother of one of Julia's friends tonight to see if she can come over either Saturday or Sunday for a playdate. We'll probably break out the slip-n-slide as long as there's no rain, and I'm sure there will be plenty of time at the park.

And, of course, laundry and cleaning.

I have today off, but I'm soo stinking tired I haven't gotten anything but laundry & errand running done. So lots of cleaning this weekend, I'm sure.

Tomorrow I work 11-3pm, then after I'm taking the kids to my mom's for the night. Dh & I are going on a date Dinner Saturday night, then a boat cruise (free tickets from his boss) on Sunday...if it doesn't rain.

After the boat cruise, we'll go pick up the kids and the weekend will be over.

DH is in Chicago all weekend for a conference, so I'm all by myself. Tonight I'm just vegging out and having me time. Tomorrow morning I plan on doing some cleaning and organizing, and then tomorrow afternon I'm going to town to take my nephew back-to-school shopping, go to the library, and do a mystery shop that I'm scheduled for.

I work both saturday and sunday. Then theres the routine cleaning and laundry and hopefully some time to continue renovations on the bathroom. Not such an exciting weekend but I definitely have enough on my plate to keep me busy.

Doing some cleaning, cooking, crafting, getting recipes ready for the swap, yard sales, and now it looks like I may have to go to the eye doctor (I think I have a scratch or ulcer on my cornea).

Nothing too exciting, just the usual grocery shopping, cleaning and errand running. I'll also be working on my crochet project. DSS is over for the weekend, DH has a yardwork project planned for him.

Nothing exciting happening here. I just plan on working in the house and doing all the stuff I haven't had time for during the week. Also probably will do some grocery shopping.
