    Default Freebie Questions

I noticed that there are lots of free items mentioned. I just clicked on one to receive an item and had to do a survey. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had any problems with these free offers? Were they totally free and did you always receive what you were told you would get? Do you always have to do a survey to get a free item? Thanks for any help or answers.

Regarding your questions, I can't answer for every one but I will tell you my opinion. I get many freebies or I wouldn't be wasting my time with this. I received 35 freebies in July and so far in August I have received 36. These were totally free to me.

I never post any freebies with pages and pages of surveys attached. To me that would not be worth my time. Sometimes companies ask for a short survey and I mention that in the post.

I always try to verify that these are true freebies and not bogus offers. Of course, some offers may not come through. With freebies it is a hit or miss thing. All recognizable companies that offer freebies always come through in my experience. If you have a problem, you can even e-mail them.

You have to decide if this is worth your time. It's not for everybody. I am sorry if your experiences haven't been positive.

Wishing you nothing but the best.

BTW Panndi, I forgot to ask, which offer did you click on with the long survey?

Wow you have really gotten alot. Thanks for the info. I clicked on the one for the Pepcid Ac. It was just a short few questions. I was just curious if all the free offers were that way. I haven't had any bad experiences, since is just the first time I have done that here. I think I will check out some of the other freebies too.

I think autumnlynn has just abut hit the nail on the head - every "freebie" offer is a little different, and its up to you to decide how much of your time your willing to give. A lot of "freebies" will ask for a 3 or 4 question survey, but some are longer (I have found that at least for me, Olay and Dove samples usually have a really long survey to fill out). There are also a lot of offers out there for "free laptop" or "free $500 gift cards" that are basically no more than scams to get you to sign up for other programs or spam you to death, so if a freebie sounds too good to be true - it probably is.

I get around 10-12 freebies per month, but I'm also picky with what I send away for. I won't send for things I don't need or use.

Thanks alot Angie and Sara. I appreciate the help. I have seen those offers for gift cards and checked them out. A case of if it it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I guess I will get busy and check out the freebie section. IO don't want to send for things I can't use. There might be some items I could give to someone else. I will check and see.

    Hey Peg,

Guess I should check out the freebies as well, especially for kid stuff that Jennifer could use. LOL, with 3 small boys, every little bit helps.

HI Carolyn. I just sent you a pm. That would be a good idea. I think I could easily get addicted to checking for freebies. I clicked on about 14 of the freebie links last night to send away for stuff. I want to go check some more.

I will try to look at them sometime today. Right now, I'm just here for a few before taking Mickie to school. Flooring guy is supposed to be here around 8:30 this morning to start taking up the damaged flooring. Hopefully I can come back online after I talk to him a bit. Also, contractor is supposed to be here and i have a few things to talk over with him as well.

    Later gator
