Good morning,
whew, been busy since I first posted on the village. I am converting my attic into a bedroom for a 12 year old and need ideas for the walls. I wan't sure where to post this. I am putting in osb subwalls with storage drawers and a door for a cubby hole for storage. What woud be the best to do with the walls? I was considering a stucco like texture since this can be let as is or painted. any ideas will be welcomed

Hi wildflower,
This would be a good post for general chat. We were considering our attic for our DD bedroom and it would have been much as you described. We are in the middle of a major remodel. In the end we put her BR next to ours on the first floor. It sounds like you have a great plan for the room. The only reason we go with smooth walls is that I have scraped myself on those walls and that is not fun. We are turning ours into a 2nd family, media room to get the TV upstairs and a place to hideout.
We will have short walls and a stucco like ceiling, with 2 hanging ceiling fans for comfort.
