I am so frustrated

This is so frustrating, I have been trying to make a Dr appt. since the begining of Aug. I ended up in ER on the 6thcould ot breath.. Well I'm not getting better so I've been trying again........ Come to find out 5 Drs quit. Not mine but I still can't get in. I have even called their supperviser. I have an appt at 6 pm tomorrow....... If I can last that long. I've been giving myself breathing treatments every 3 hours it helps a little. They have been looking for Dr's for the last 11/2 months.... I won't see my Dr tomorrow but I do have an appt on Sept 20th. Thats to far away for my problem now.........

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I know how hard it is to see a different doctor especially when you're feeling awful. Here's hugs and hopes the doc you see tonight is helpful.

I have asthma so I know exactly what you are going through. When I have to take the treatments every two hours and I still have trouble breathing and I find myself using the rescue inhaler constantly, I usually head for the E.R. I let it go last year and it went into pneumonia.

Will they let you see a specialist? There's not much worse than having difficulty breathing.

I know how stressful this must be for you. It is very similar up here in Canada. I have been having some scary female problems and the first appointment they could give me was Oct. 4. It really causes a lot of anziety to wait, when you know there is something seriously wrong.

I;ve seen a lung Dr. He said lose weight. I've lost almost 100lbs. I just keep getting worse. I want it fixed before I have to go to ER. They alway want to admit me. I have been trying to see the Dr since the beginning of Aug. I was just told to walk in they have to see me. Last time I was admited my pulse ox was 79. On Aug 6th it was 88, and had pneumonia. Er still wants to know why I'm not on o2. I only need to lose 70 lbs to be at my goal weight. I already know I need a shot of steroids antibiotics and about 15 srraight days of steroids.

Fern,

The shot of steroids and the Medrol dose pack really helps me, too. I just don't understand why you can't see a doctor right now. Breathing problems are considered emergency. When my asthma acts up, my family doctor tells me just to come in and not even call for an appointment. Is it your insurance that is giving you a hard time? There's no excuse for that. I think some crazy people must be running these insurance companies. A person has to breathe and that is something immediate. Please keep us posted. I really understand.

Well I'm back from the Dr's......... Got 2 shots........ I was seen by my Dr.....

She gave me a different antibiotic and a 12 day of steroids...... She says she'll admit me if I don't start getting better. So I'm hopping I'll start getting better.

HHHUUUGGGSSS and prayers going your way Fern!!!! Hope the steroids and antibiotics work soon!! i seen my friens more them once lose her wind, lips turn blue, very scary!!! HHUUGGSSS
