    Post Talk about inept people

I just came back from picking up my meds and I'm looking at the direction on the steroids and they have me taking 120 mg of the stuff. today and 100mg tomorrow so on and so forth. Well I did read it before I turned the script in and thats not what the script said. They finely figured out they made a mistake....... They would have made my heart beat really fast and I would be shaking like crazy and my blood sugar would have gone up too. I would not have taken it that way since I did read the directions first. Same amount of pills.

Yes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

Wow, I am really glad you read that carefully. People can be so careless!

Fern, thanks for the reminder to always read our Rx's. You are smart to do that. I'm on my way this p.m. to pick up a script. I will remember to read. thanks!

You really have to watch your scripts, and make sure you are getting the right thing. I'm glad you caught it Fern!

I had the same thing happen with my blood pressure meds once. Like you, I always read and pay attention to what I'm supposed to have and what I receive. Since I live some distance from the pharmacy, I check them out before I even pay for them so I don't have to go back cause they will correct the prescriptions, but they won't pay for your gas and inconvenience.

Besides, it's dangerous! Glad you caught it Fern.
