Thumbs up Do You Know A Needy Child Who Loves The Outdoors?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I wanted to share this info.

While listening to the Johnboy and Billy radio show this morning on the way home from taking Mickie to school, I heard them talking about this Non Profit "dream wish" granting charity.

This organization helps special needs children and children who maybe are having a hard time dealing with the illness, death or divorce, and other situations.

It's the United Special Sportman Alliance, (USSA) and they are looking for children to help. They have received alot of response from many sponsers who are willing to help a child by allowing them to experiance the great outdoors through hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

I checked out their site, and I was very impressed with what I read there. I'm passing the info on to my Aunt, who has a special needs grandson.

    Here is the addy: www.childswish.com

While there, you can read about the USSA, and you can also find an online application. Their phone number is at the top of the page along with their mailing address. You can check out the sponser list too.

Thanks Carolyn, that sounds like a good organization.
