    Default Clothes or shoes?

I got about 130 US dollars as a birthday present
Now I wonder what you think... should I buy some nice quality clothes for work (that is classic outfits that would last for years) or should I buy a pair of good walking-shoes?
I work in an office with no particular dress code (it's merely come as you like..). I ride my bike to the train station (2 km) and walk from the train to work (about 1 km). Also, I have three kids and we get out quite a bit, thats why I was thinking about the shoes...
Well it is not easy deciding to buy expensive tings when you are not used to having ANY money for your personal clothing

I don't know, I think I would go for the walking shoes. If anyone knows about how sore, hurting feet can ruin your day......It's me!! Maybe you could find a great pair on sale and still have enough left over for a nice sweater as well.

Anyhoo, have fun spending your birthday $$$

I'd go for the shoes! They seem to wear out faster than clothes. And since your work doesn't require special clothes you can continue to wear what you have. Snowball or bank the leftover amount.

Well, you sure are in another country. It seems that some of you thaught I could get both clothes AND shoes... that is not possible given the prices around here
I think I'll go for shoes anyway. The amount of money I have is 1000 SKR and the shoes are 999 SKR. That leaves me 1 SKR... (divide the numbers by seven to get the prices in US dollars)
    Thanks all of you!!!

I would definitely go for the shoes since your office has no dress code and nice walking shoes can make a big difference in how you feel. Enjoy spending your birthday money!!

Shoes... definitely the shoes! You can always find/borrow/make new clothes.... shoes... eh... I'd be barefoot but dressed well if I had to make my own shoes too
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I would buy shoes, more than just one pair though.
