Are the leaves changing on your trees yet?
I have noticed some of the trees with leaves that are changing all ready. At first I thought it was just because we had a dry spell for a while in August, but now I wonder if it is because we have been having cooler than normal weather the last couple of weeks or so.
Normally the leaves don't really start to change here until early October, but I have even noticed the beans and corn turning yellow for drying out and getting ready to be harvested.
What's it like where you live?

Same here. We have had some trees changing since the beginning of August. I thought it was the lack of rain. Now there are more & more. There's one maple across the street that always changes early. It's bright red & orange now even though the ones next to it are still green.

The leaves aren't really changing colors yet here, but yesterday while we were golfing I noticed that some trees are starting to drop their leaves. And it's definitely cooled down a ton in the last 2 weeks or so.

No sign of fall here. We won't see any change till atleast the end of October. Hubby and kids will probably still be wearing shorts into November. I would love to visit somewhere that actually has four seasons. I think it would blow my kids' minds kids if we took them somewhere and see what the fall season really looks like.

We have a couple of trees in our yard that the leaves are turning yellow. We also have some leaves on the ground. I really like Fall weather. I used to think Summer was my favorite season, but I am starting to lean more towards the Fall of the year. The only season I don't care for is Winter. I do not like the cold.

Yes they trees are changing here. The dogwood tree outside the window is turning a pretty shade of orange/red. The temperature is also cooling here.

My red maples in the front of my house are starting to darken. I'd be happy to have them go early we have had a couple of years when the snow came before we could rake them all up.

We only have a few maples here and there that change. We mostly have oaks and the leaves just turn an ugly brown and then fall.

There are a few here and there that are starting to change. I really notice it on the drive in to and from work but not so much near the house. Like several others, I thought it was browning due to lack of rain because the leaves aren't yellow or red but brown.
