Question -=Online Savings Accounts - Who is best?=-

    Hiya Everyone...
I was thinking about using on-line saving. My question is... I looked at a few already, how did you choose the one you have?
Did you ever get one and regret it?
Does your bank charge you to transfer the money?
I was looking at ING and it said it had free-transfer but bank charges may apply. I looked all over our banks website but didn't see ANYTHING about transfers, let alone charges.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I have ING and I LOVE them! I just transferred some money last week, and my local bank didn't charge any fees. I would probably call my bank and ask them about any fees for transfers. Deposits are made directly from my bank weekly into my ING account. Thier interest rate is really good. I highly recommend them.

I also use ING and have never had any fees charged from my bank. You just attach it to your checking account and transfer online. We actually have several accounts and have automatic withdrawals done weekly.

BTW, the interest rate just went up again, the current rate is 4.4%

Another big fan of ING here. I originally signed up just to get the bonus, but was so impressed I've stayed with them for 4 years now. The automatic transfers are easy, and it has never taken more than 2 days to get the money back. I've never been charged a fee (I've used it with two different banks' checking accounts).

I know that other online banks have higher interest rates, but ING is competitive and I've had such a positive experience that I wouldn't consider switching myself.

I have ING also and have never had any problems transferring back into my account if I need to. My bank doesn't charge anything.

I have a ING account I do love them, If you deposit $250, I can send you a referral so you get a free $25

I also like Virtual bank, I also can send a referral for $20 for you if you open a account with them.

Just email me if you would like either or both referrals.

ING here too! No transfer fees, good intrest rate for a savings acct I think its 4.40% right now. Thats much better than my credit union who is offering .75%.
