Murphy Knocked Me Flat!
Well Dave Ramsey was right! As soon as I got my E-fund fully funded Murohy would come to my door. But he didn't say he'd knock me flat on my back!
First had computer blow a fan, then had emergency generator blew a gasket when we tested it right before Ernesto passed by, then the IRS showed up looking for moeny and then Friday I had a heart attack! At 45 I found myself on the kitchen floor at 4 in the morning having a heart attack brought on by high blood pressure.
Spent the night at the hospital nad only got out by bullying the doctors and crying poor as we have No health insurance. They let me come home with my pills and blood prssure monitor and a promise to visit a list of doctors over the next 2 weeks and get this pressure under control. Also got a huge lecture from everyone about Not skipping the ambulance ride nexttime.
Why didn't anyone warn me how hard Murphy was going to try to get my small savings????

Oh my goodness Laurie that is alot to have happen all at once! Take good care of yourself, I'm sending positive thoughts your way.
“When you get to the end of all the light you know
and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
you will be given something solid to stand on,
or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller
“Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
there are signs that the world is speedily
coming to an end;
bribery and corruption are common; children no
longer obey their parents;
every man wants to write a book and the
end of the world is evidently approaching.”
— From a translation of an inscription on
an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Good heavens. . .what you've been through!!! Take care of yourself. Nothing is more important than your health. Everything else will take care of itself.

I agree with all above. First get your health in order by getting that blood pressure under control. It's nothing to play with Laurie.
As far as Murphy goes, I am sorry you had to take a huge hit like that.
Please, please, your health first.

I am sorry for your run of bad luck. I hope your health improves. I would have taken the ambulance and stayed in the hospital until the doctors felt it was safe to go home no matter what the cost. I'd rather have my life than the money, or my life and no money. You are young to have had a heart attack. Did you have any prior symptoms?

We're reevaluating everything right now. Going to make healthcare a larger prioirty. Never had any health problems in the past. Been health as an ox, eat carefully and get lots of exersise and fresh air. But family history caught up with me. Father has had heart problems since he was 50 as did his father before him. Mother and grandmother both have high blood pressure so it was just a matter of time.
Hope Murphy goes far, far away but doesn't visit any of you.

I found out 6 years ago that I had high blood pressure. I was so surprised, cause I did not feel bad at all. Doctor said they call it the silent killer. With medication, I was able to get it under control, and, in fact, I am only taking half of my original dose. I watch what I eat, exercise, and take my medication every day.
I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Take care GF, and know that you are in my thoughts and prayer.

I am so sorry to hear that Murphy was visiting you and that he tried to camp out there too. I hope he gets on a slow boat to that island that everyone is sending their trouble inlaws too and leaves my Village friends alone.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
