Default I'm New and looking for new ideas!

Hello everyone! I'm new to this site after being referred to by a friend. I'm looking at new ways to save some $$ and just learing to live on less. I am hoping to be blessed with a child someday in the near future and in planning that I think I also need to plan my strategy for being down to one income. Unfortunalely, my income is higher than my partners so it will hurt more if I am off on maternity leave. Any suggestion to earning income from home or any ways to reduce the dollar outflow is appreciated.
