DH and his company!

This is a rant, rave and vent! I went online to pay my monthy bills today. I pay my cc in full every month and I knew it was somewhere around $700. Imagine my surprise when it was well over $1000! So I started to dig thinking there was a very big mistake on my bill, (I really thought I must have been double billed on something) but I wasn't.

As it turns out Dh went on a business trip last month with 3 coworkers and was in charge, for a week they stayed at a hotel there. Guess what he put on my cc? Now my dh is a lead person but does NOT have an expense account. We will get reimbursed for this but, why couldn't the company put it on their card over the phone? I will never know! And my dh for not telling me this little detail and giving me a little heart attack? Well let's just say it will not happen again!

The company my hubby works for does the same thing. We have to pay for his trips then they reimburse us. The only thing they pay for up front is the cost of the Continuing Education Classes he is going on the trips for. It really bothers me since I hate to be out of that money, even if only for a few days.

I am so thankful dh's company (Kroger/Fred Meyer) gives him a corporate card and they cover all his expenses.

It's a good thing you will get reimbursed for this expense, but it wasn't very nice of your hubby not to tell you about it. Hope you can resolve it.

Same thing here. DH has to put his business trips and expenses on our CC and then his company reimburses us. I hate it. We usually end up paying interest on it because his company never gets the check to us by the time the bill comes due.

~ My DH is going on 10 weeks of business trips this fall and using our cc for car rental and meals. I was surprised to find over $700 of charges on my cc bill that I didn't expect. BUT I'm happy about it because we have a reward card and those charges (we pay in full every month) earned us $7 in free gas! ~

My hubby is military and has a BofA Visa for all his deployments. He then files his travel voucher and the military sends the money directly to BofA. Makes life easier on me when he's deployed.

I hope you get reimbursed quickly.
