Default I survived feeding football players

Well, after working all day to clean the house and make two large pans of Lasagna it is finally over. I had the Senior football player Thursday night dinner at our house. We had 16 of them here. They are all great kids. I honestly thought I had made too much food. But, they had other plans, and I only had 5 small pieces of garlic bread out of 8 halves left, and only two pieces of Lasagna left. I made two dozen cupcakes and have only 7 left. But, it was a very easy clean up. Anyway, hopefully they all enjoyed the food, and had a nice time. Tomorrow we have a game at Hershey Park Stadium, so I will be cheering for them all night.

That's a wonderful success story. Can you imagine how much it would have cost to feed them fast food?!

That sounds like a great meal and very filling, even if they are football players.

    Unhappy

Enjoy those moments! I used to have a herd of boys that came and went from here everyday.
They are now in parts of the world and I only hear from them from time to time when they are home on leave. Two in Iraq, One in Afganistain, one in Alaska. Go figure they send the boy from Fla to Alaska??? One just home to N.C. What I wouldn't give to have them all around the dinner table again eating me out of house and home.
