    Default Long long day

we woke up late for church (after having listened to the neighbors arguing...again...all night long)

got the kids cleaned up, dressed, and all of us out the door.

got to church, worked in the pantry orgainising after our move last week into a larger room.

got to enjoy service, it was great...all about love.

then we went to McD's to feed the kiddos and let them play on the equipment.

came home and were just about to get started on the finishing work left to do on our roof... and dh's buddy came by all upset that his trailer won't hitch to his car right...and the lights aren't working. So dh helped him with that instead of the roof.

they ditched me with dh's buddy's kiddo (nightmare of an attitude today for some reason) while they rant to home depot for supplies

i gathered veggies from the garden while they played out in the yard.

then i came in and vacuumed, did dishes, swept, mopped, and tidied up a little. jept an eye the whole while on the kids outside the window

Ds2 had it with the big kids and decided i would work better for a playmate, so we spent a long while just doing the things that make him laugh and that made for a warm happy mommy heart.

then my avon boxes came (no idea what company dropped em off, didn't recognise the van)

dh finished with the trailer and sent his buddy on his way. he then took off to the sunday mens group.

while he was gone i made dinner

got the kids to clear through their toys

    packaged avon orders

and then went to town cleaning through my bedroom. took two hours and i am surre it will take a few more days of the same thing, but it is a work in progress, and i am pleased with how far i got.

still waiting for dh to come home so i popped on here...i am pooped, lol

Sometimes that's just the way a day goes, isn't it? We are remodeling our house and there have been a few times my DH has had to go help a friend with issues too. The day was long, but sounds like it was productive.
    Sorry about insensitive arguing neighbors.

It sounds like a busy but productive day around your homestead .

Sounds like you had one of those days, but the good part is you got so much done. I especially like working in my bedroom as it's a private place for me to retreat and express myself. When I have someone over, they want to check out my bedroom to see what I've done new!

my bedroom hasn't been much of a retreat lately. it's felt very much like a storage room. very cluttered, very...ugh. feels goot to have a little cleared out
