Private in Last Post column?

I am curious as to why sometimes it says Private in the last posts column.
Sometimes that's what is in the Simple Living or Natural Living last posts column & it will not show any posts at all if you go there.
are there problems with those forums? Just wondering why sometimes I can't get in there.

It shouldn't under natural living. The private forums are the depression and support forums. It's possible some posts that are in the garden forum and homesteading forums are marked private because they are being directed to homesteadgarden.com now.

We're trying to keep frugality the primary focus here, so have split popular topics onto the other sites.

I wanted to add that if anyone is experiencing the same, please let me know. It might be in the forum permissions.

redmaples, your account was marked default settings which should let you view things, but I changed it to your account specifically to be able to view. Let me know if it changed anything for you.

After posting the question I went back & those forums were not listed as private anymore. It's happened a few other times, but didn't seem permanent.
