Cleaning Question for you all

I have a question for everyone. How often do you all vacuum your home?
My friends and family think I am insane because I vacuum darn near everyday. It just got me wondering, how often is normal? Am I insane?

I have very little carpet because of my allergies, but when I had it, I would vacuum about every day to keep out the dust and allergens. It seems so much gets in carpets. If you have pets, I think daily vacuuming is a necessity.

I vacume everyday also. I have dark carpet and one very furry cat

I vaccuum much less often than that, but when all 3 of my dkids were at home and we had a dog in the house I vacc'd about every other day. Now I have laminate flooring in most of the house and just sweep about 3 times a week and vac when needed.

With 2 kids, a dog and a cat I would have 3 inches of crumbs and hair if I didnt vacuum every other day. haha.

On average I would say I vacuum 4 days a week.

I try to vacuum everyday, but sometimes it's every other day. With 2 dogs it's a must.

I do vacuume about everyother day downstairs. (more if my little one get ahold of popcorn). I'm not really regular about vacuuming upstairs (it needs done now) I only have one heavy vacuum and I hate dragging it upstairs.

I vacuum the living area and dining room everyday. I do the stairs and bedrooms upstairs once a week or as needed. We have a very big lab who sheds like crazy.

Jeez make me look bad why don't ya? I have 3 kids 2 dogs and 2 cats and vacum once a week with a quick sweep about once a week also

Here in Florida there is so much sand tracked in that I vacuum almost every day.

when i had carpet beacuse of kids allergies, every day, and i cleaned with the steam machines twice a year to kill all those dust bunnies out
I dont think your nuts, thatsjusr how u do your house work and its better to do it morew often then once a week like my parents.

We have all hardwood floors with a few area rugs here & there. Even with just that, I still find I have to vacuum at least every other day...usually every day. With three dogs, three cats, and four kids I'm lucky it's not twice a day

I do it once a week(actually dh does it), but I plan on putting in laminate flooring. Yeah!

I vacuum downstairs almost daily and upstairs once a week. When I had a dog, I definitely had to vacuum daily. I hate to see visible dirt, hair on the floor. Plus, my husband is a builder and tracks dirt in the house every day. Plus, we have an old (probably 20 years) indoor/outdoor carpet in our kitchen, so it smells if I don't keep it super clean. Can't wait to re-do the kitchen and ditch that old thing left over from the previous owners!
