The "Six Degrees Of Seperation" theory

After seeing the commercial for the premier of the new ABC show "Six Degrees" my coworker and I were talking about the 6 degrees theory. I remember there was the "Six degrees of Kevin Bacon" e-mail going around a long time ago where he could be connected to any other actor thru just 6 people, but what do you think.

Is it possible. Here is the fun one that we came up with for me:

I know my mom (1), who went to High School with Pauletta Pearson (2), who is married to Denzel Washington (3) who was in "Man on Fire" with Dakota Fanning (4) who was in "Trapped" with Kevin Bacon (5)....lol

We've been bored at work, can't you tell....lol

That's intersting. I can't say that I know anyone who is in the six degree range of Kevin Bacon.....but you never know

OK, my first husband and I met back in 1984 at an audition, we both did tons of local theatre. Here's how our 6 Degrees of KB plays out

1. (now) ex-Husband was in a production at Children's Theatre with Michael Osmet

2. Michael Osmet is father to Haley Joel Osmet

3. HJO has role in Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks

4. Tom Hanks has role in Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon

I don't have 6 degrees but I have 1 degree.

My uncle Kevin Chapman was in Mystic River with yes you guessed it Kevin Bacon. lol
