Question Even though it's already here, are you ready for fall?

I know it's a favorite season to many and it's certainly not my least fav. season but I have to say that I hate to see summer end. Every summer it seems as if I hate to see it end more and more. I'm thinking I should live in Florida or something.....lol. I like fall, don't get me wrong. After summer and spring it would be next in line of my fav. seasons. In other words I'm not a winter time fan. What are your favorite seasons?

I LOVE fall.... the colors, the crisp air.... all of it.

That said, this year I feel like I missed out on summer- so much of my summer was spent in the hospital for either myself or DS. Then when we did come home, we couldn't be out of the house much. So I missed all the summer festivals, swimming outside, etc. So, this year, I wouldn't have minded if summer lasted a little longer.

I'm starting to drag out my fall decorations, changing my front door wreath and table top stuff. Down with the wreath covered in little umbrellas, fish, and a hula girl. Up with the fall leaves and scarecrow. Away with the flower decorated table cloth out with the rust colored one. Out with the pumpkin salt and pepper shakers.

Here in Florida, fall really doesn't seem any different (at least not to me) than summer until you get to late November, maybe December. It's too darn hot!

I'm a summer girl! Fall is ok until it starts getting really cold, and winter..... I hate Chicagoland winters. Spring is ok, but it seems like for quite a few years now we've been going straight from winter to summer.

I agree, in Florida winter time seems like fall! We ate Thanksgiving dinner in the FL room last year, because it was hot out!

I definitely like spring and summer the best. I hate Midwest winters, and fall just makes me think about all the cold weather we have coming.

    Hey Lisa,
I agree with you in all of it. I hate midwest winters and often wonder what a warmer winter would be like, although I have to admit we got spoiled last winter by lack of cold. Saved our butts with heating costs and it was just nice to be warm enough to be outside doing my daily two mile treck.

I love summer time and I also like the fall when the leaves change and mum's and things like that.

I hate hate hate (did I say hate) winter. To cold, snow yucky weather. Did I say I hate winters? If we could (hope to transfer some day to)move somewhere warmer.

I love summer cook outs and friends over and outside time.

I love fall because of the cooler weather, fall colors, mum's

I don't hate or love spring I don't care for the storms that happen a lot in the spring time but it is ok.

I hate winter because of cold, ice storms, snow storms ( I am near the snowbelt), and just the overall yuck of it all. I hate winter clothes need them because it is cold out but when you go into a store you could sweat to death.

But overall Summer and fall are my favorites.

Fall is my favorite time of year. Even out here the leaves turn on a lot of the trees. I loved pumpkins, bakery scented candles, and all the pretty colors.

We really don't have much of a winter where I live, but when I lived back East, I hated snow and really cold weather.

I like fall because of the weather change and high school football!

I love summer because I don't have to work and I can wear a tshirt and shorts most of the time. All other seasons, I have to work because I work for the school district.

I like all the seasons. My favorite is summer and right now early fall. I enjoy the changing weather and even like the rain for a while. I love to wish for snow and enjoy a good wind storm.

I like summer but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fall. I love the leaves changing, the chill in the air, pumpkins, halloween, everything.

Having said that, the fall is the only time of year I get homesick for the U.S., and even though I've lived in the United Kingdom for 12 years, I always find the fall difficult to get through. I miss the spectacular colours of the mountains, I miss pumpkin festivals and halloween parades. I miss high school football and I miss Thanksgiving and all the traditions that go with it. We have Thanksgiving in our house here, but it's not the same.

So I love the fall, but I miss home.
