trying again...
This weekend a young girl DS1 goes to school with tried to end her life. Both my boys have had her father for a math teacher. She is in critical condition in ICU and they don't think she is going to make it. She overdosed on tylenol. I am asking for prayers for her and her family. I am just sick about this as I know the father and my sons adored him as a teacher-very upbeat, patient...
I tried to post this a bit ago and it got removed and I am not sure why.

FernYes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

Suicide is such a sad thing. I hope she makes it through and gets the help she needs.

Thank you everyone. I will definately post as soon as I know more. The school called all seniors to a special meeting and the counselor called all parents of seniors to let them know what was going on. DS said they will probably have another meeting today with the seniors.
Yes suicide is so tragic. Such a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I understand how one can feel that there is no way things will ever change but for me as a Christian I think fear has always kept me from those evil thoughts along with Gods Grace.

An update on this young girl. DS heard she has gone from a 20% chance to live to 50%. Keep praying! Thanks
