    What a wonderful site to find. I am on a couple of other frugal boards and host a budget forum on Delphi.

    Anyone an ex-Prodigy Tightwad member? I was on that board years and years ago. It was one of the first frugal boards and was one of the best.

    I share my home with one DH and 3 cats. Well, actually the cats let us live here since they think we are here for their convenience. They just see as as walking can openers.

    A little frugal history. Both DH and I were born with the frugal gene. We will find a solution first before having to spend for something new. I like to think of it as using one's brain instead of one's wallet. We make do, wear it out and fix what we can.

    We love thriftstores, yardsales and never go to the mall. We just aren't spenders but rather savers instead.

    I can't wait to start reading the threads here. Sounds great.
