I guess the recommended questions to answer would break the ice.
Soooo.... here I go
How did you hear about frugal village? I found it by surfing the net on my lunch break
What interests you here? Anything that can teach how to better save me money, pay down debt, and possibly discuss with like-minded people is a plus.
Do you know any other members here? No
How many kids? Ages? One - Daughter 9 years old
Tell us about yourself. I'm a divorced singled mother. I work 8:00 - 5:00 Mon.-Fri. as a Corporate Secretary. I have recently taken a second job for Fri. nights - Saturdays - Sundays as a hostess/server.
Do you own any pets? Yes. I have a cat.
SAHM or Working mom? Ooops... see above
Married or single? Again
Interests and hobbies?
Right now it's mainly my daugter and getting out of debt.
My 28th B-day is just a month away. I've been putting this off for way to long.
I just woke up one day and had this "My 20's are almost over... I have to get my life in gear" moment. Well... I've panicked ever since.
I'm ready... I'm like a sponge ready and willing to soak up as much information as I can.
I'm the only parent my daughter has, so I need to make sure that I can do the best possible job... which for me means living without debt. Being a responsible figure for her to look at... Can't expect her to exhibit any traits unless I'm actively displaying, now can I.
Shhhheeeww... any way that was pretty long-winded.
