Do you require no shoes worn in the house?
Just wondering how you all feel about this.

Shoes are allowed in my house although personally I prefer no shoes or slippers when I'm home

Ditto to the above! I prefer shoes at this time since we're remodeling the kitchen BUT I personally walk around with no shoes, however I do spend most of my time upstairs

We allow shoes because we are remodeling the whole house, but hopefully, after we are done, it will be shoes off limits in the house.

When we get home at the end of the day the girls and I take our shoes right off and put them in the shoe bucket. I would rather them not wear shoes in the house (we actually live in a 2nd floor apartment) so I feel bad for the tenants downstairs as my girls walk heavy on their feet.

We tell people that it's safer to leave your shoes on! Between the dogs, the cats, the kids, the company, going back and forth from the barn there is no way to keep the floor clean anyway. The dogs alone require 2-3 sweepings a day (on the days that I care), so might as well own up to the fact that our floors are always dirty and wear our shoes.

We allow shoes in our home. I have tried to get DH, kids, company to take them off just inside the door but it never works. We all forget. I do think the floors/carpet would keep cleaner if we didn't wear shoes in the house.

I always take mine off in the laundry room on the way in the back door coming from work, I work in a hospital so I know what I am stepping in and tracking home on the soles of my shoes and I know I don't want it in my carpets. I always kick my regular shoes off there as a habit. The only exceptions are if I am having to use the cane or crutches and then I need to have shoes with a grip sole for stability.

Shoes allowed in our house. We are in and out a hundred times a day and always on the fly due to our business so never take time to take them off and put back on.

DH and I always, always take our shoes off, but I let guests choose whatever they're most comfortable with.

I like the idea of not wearing shoes in the house, but with dogs that go in and out, there's really no point.

We wear shoes in the house but it really would stay a lot cleaner if we didn't.
I can't stand my feet to touch the floor. I suppose we could switch to slippers.

Here in FL, everyone wears flip flops, so unless we are in and out we usually take them off.

My DH wears his work boots into and out of the house, which is why we do not have carpet. He is afraid of spiders crawling into the boots, which is why I suspect he will not remove them in the garage...
Not having carpet helps keep things cleaner.
