Default I'm just super duper uber happy. :)

Tomorrow I get my husband back!!! He's been off playing in the big sandbox known as Iraq. Just 3 days short of being gone a year he's finally coming home!!!

I'm ready to just burst. I was practically skipping in Walmart the other day when I was buying his "man food" and his type of shampoo, shaving cream and all that stuff.

Right now I'm just taking a break from cleaning. I just want the house to be perfect (or close to it) even though DH says he doesn't care. It's going to be weird because I moved into this house after he left so besides seeing some pictures he's doesn't know what this place is like. I just know the first week he'll be asking where this or that is. haha.

Just wanted to share. I hope everyone is having a good day.

That's great news! And yes, thank him for me too. And thank you too, because it isn't easy being a wife of a military man either. Happy for you all.

Dh came home for 2 weeks in March when Tristin was a little over a month old. So although he has seen him it is going to be an adustment. haha. I think Tristin will be okay. Ya know babies, as long as someone is smiling and talking to them they are happy. haha. I moved into this house when Tristin was 4 months. We have always been in apartments before so finally having a house (soooo much space!) is a great thing to me. Plus I'm a very big cleaning freak.

This SHOULD be it for him. He's getting out the end of next year so unless he gets deployed next year (which is possible) and they hold him over his contract date, he'll be home. They usually give them at least 6 months home before sending them again but it's not required. There's been rumors they will be sent to Afghanistan in January but unless we get offical word of that I'm not going to pay any attention to the talk.

Eh. I need to put away laundry now.
